How to Use

1. Adjust the Equipment:

  • Adjust the hip pad height so that it fits snugly just below the hips (around the greater trochanter area), ensuring stable pelvic support during the upward thrust.

  • Set the foot platform position so both feet are firmly planted with knees slightly bent (avoid locking or overbending).

  • Select the appropriate weight according to your strength level — beginners should start with lighter resistance.

2. Starting Position:

  • Stand facing the machine with your feet shoulder-width apart on the foot platform. Hold the side handles firmly for stability.Press your hips against the pad, engage your core, and maintain a neutral spine (avoid rounding or overarching the lower back).

3. Exercise Execution:

  • Upward Drive: Engage the glute muscles to push your hips backward and upward (perpendicular to the ground) until your body forms a straight line from shoulders to knees. At the top, consciously squeeze your glutes and hold for 1–2 seconds.

  • Controlled Descent: Slowly lower your hips back to the starting position under control, keeping your core tight and avoiding swinging or lower back compensation.

4. Training Plan:

  • Perform 3–4 sets of 12–15 repetitions per session.As your strength improves, gradually increase the weight or shorten rest intervals between sets (30–60 seconds).
