Usage Instructions

1. Preparation
    Adjust the Seat Height: If the machine is equipped with a seat, adjust it according to your height so that when standing on the footboard, your body is in a natural, comfortable, and stable position.
    Check the Weight Plates: Make sure the current weight plates match your training intensity. For first-time users or those with lower strength, start with lighter weights and gradually increase the load as your strength improves.
    Inspect the Equipment: Before use, check that all parts of the machine are in good condition—for example, ensure the footboard is stable, the handles are secure, and the weight pin is firmly in place—to guarantee safe training.

2. Training Process
    Stance: Stand steadily on the footboard with feet spaced according to personal comfort, generally shoulder-width apart. This allows the hip muscles to engage naturally. Keep your back straight and your core engaged, avoiding leaning or hunching, to start the exercise with proper posture.
    Grip the Handles: Hold the handles naturally with moderate force, enough to maintain balance during the exercise but without excessive tension that might interfere with proper hip muscle activation.
    Start the Movement: Initiate movement from the hips and slowly spread your legs outward. Focus on feeling the contraction of the hip abductor muscles. When the legs reach the maximum range and you can feel peak muscle contraction, pause for 1–2 seconds.
    Return Movement: Slowly and controlled, bring your legs back to the starting position, feeling the stretch of the hip abductor muscles. Avoid using momentum to snap the legs back, as this can reduce effectiveness or even cause muscle strain.

3. Training Frequency and Intensity
    Frequency: For general fitness, perform hip abductor training 2–3 times per week, with at least 1–2 days between sessions to allow muscles sufficient time to recover and grow.
    Intensity: Perform 10–15 repetitions per set, with 3–4 sets per session. As strength improves, gradually increase the weight or the number of repetitions per set, ensuring progressive overload without overtraining.
